Electric Stands

We can design you either a 120v or 240v system, and this will depend on the batch size you would like to accomplish. Brewing over 5 gallon batches with 120v is not recommended, but can be done. In order to be quick and efficient 10 to 15 gallon batches can be done using a 30amp 240v breaker. This is what most dryer outlets are.

This system we built for a customer that has three kettles with a Herms Coil.

Heat Exchanged Recirculating Mash is a great way to be efficient. We built the control panel to control the pumps as well as the elements. It featured 30 amp breakers, an E stop and two PID controllers.

The kettles we get come with the couplings welded in but we make20141216_195659 (1) the hole for the element and attach the box and cord with a twist lock plug. We can supply you with the kit to do it yourself or we can assemble for you. We recommend using heavy gauge kettles for electric systems.
